The product is an outdoor-use water container intended for cold temperatures. The built-in water filter removes limescale, and the vacuum flask body keeps the liquid cold for an extended period of time. The handle’s internal grip is rubberized for comfort. How can we communicate the intended product experience to its users just through its form?
As the product experience is all about the refreshing quality of cold water, we looked for inspiration in visuals and scenarios that suggest cold temperatures or a cool climate. The cold climate of the polar ice caps appealed to the imagination. The visuals associated with it felt refreshing, especially on hot summer days, and thus decided on the narrative. The final form roughly represents a penguin, associated with both cold climates and water.
