SpaceForU was a peer to peer marketplace connecting venues in Cornwall and Devon with local event organisers. Booking a venue in the region meant emails, phone calls, and back and forth. The platform replaced that with fast listing creation, real-time availability, and instant bookings.”

I built and launched the MVP within 24 hours using no code tools. Live users were testing it within the first week. Over the following months I secured partnerships with over 20 venue owners, onboarded 40+ rentable spaces, and ran 40+ user interviews to shape the product around real behaviour. I owned everything: product development, UX, user acquisition, support, and hands on outreach to convert leads into activated users.”

Selected for Falmouth University’s fully funded startup incubator and was featured in a Falmouth University article highlighting regional innovation and early-stage entrepreneurship.

After several pivots, we found that long term demand in Cornwall and Devon wasn’t strong enough to sustain growth. Acquiring event organisers outside the region required in person engagement and marketing spend that made the unit economics unsustainable. We made the call to sunset the product.
