Hey, I'm Masa! 👋 Product Engineer for founders.

I build products founders build businesses on. Product strategy, design, full stack build, and compliance. First users active in months, not years.

Your product should work for you

The first product needs to be load bearing. It’s what customers interact with, what revenue flows through, and what investors get pointed at. It should be creating momentum, not costing time and runway. I build that product fast enough to start running the business on it in months, not years.

  • Conversations become product. Founders share what the business needs and I handle everything between that conversation and working software. No specs to write, no briefs to translate, no backlog to manage.
  • Revenue ready. What I build solves a real problem from day one. First customers get value, not a beta they’re testing on someone else’s behalf. The product does the work so founders can focus on customer relationships.
  • Built to last from day one. Thousands of automated tests, hundreds of iterative PRs, auditable full-stack repos. No throwaway prototypes that need rebuilding when traction arrives.
  • The boring stuff is done. Compliance, testing, infrastructure, security. None of it gets left until later, and none of it becomes the reason a deal stalls or a launch slips.

I’m currently Lead Product Engineer at ARAY, a UK-based UGC creator platform I built solo from scratch and launched to creators within 3 months. The platform is live and expanding into its second phase.

Speaking and Events

I speak at events and panels on building with emerging technologies, organise my own meetups in London, and compete in hackathons. The topics range across crowdfunding, startups, AI, and product strategy. Each one has been a chance to test ideas with people closer to the work than I am.

Hackathons

AI Voice and Meeting Agents Hackathon, Antler London (Sept 2025). Won with a team of three. Built an AI powered travel itinerary generator in under 7 hours, from first meeting our teammates to a working demo.

How I work

I work on products from strategy through launch, with a single point of accountability throughout. The work usually starts with commercial pressure and a clear sense of who the first buyers are.

This happens in a few shapes:

  • As a multi-phase partner across the company’s growth, owning product and engineering from first users to scale.
  • As a founding or lead product engineer joining an early-stage team where the product is the company.
  • As a fixed-price builder taking a product from idea to first users in three to six months.
  • As a validator running a proof of concept in one to three weeks, covering problem validation, technical feasibility, compliance and legal blockers, and anything else that could stop the product existing.

Occasionally I also explore co-founder and equity arrangements where the fit is right.

If any of this sounds relevant, I’d love to hear about what you’re building. Book a 20 minute intro call and we can talk it through.
